Visual Identity for a Cultural Hub: Balancing Consistency and Diversity
I took on the challenge of developing the visual identity for a new cultural season, focused on a venue that hosts both concerts and clubbing events. This project required a strategic approach to bridge the gap between two distinct audiences while maintaining a single, recognizable brand.
To solve this, I developed a graphic matrix based on the differentiation of events within a unified identity. This modular visual system uses typography and color as its core design elements, allowing for creative flexibility while maintaining visual consistency. I selected the DejaVu font family for its versatility, and the classic Libre Baskerville to create a compelling visual contrast.
Whether a user is looking for a concert or a clubbing event, they will immediately identify the specific program while still recognizing the brand as a whole. This project showcases my ability to create a strategic brand identity that is both dynamic and highly recognizable, adapting to the diverse needs of a multi-activity cultural space.
